Paste’s 20 Best Books of 00′s

Paste Magazine has up their 20 Best books of the 2000′s. I would definitely agree with their 3 and 4 selections. The Road and Gilead are surely worthy. A Heartbreaking Work of Staggering Genius was smart and intense if a little insane…Blue Like Jazz is kind of the Christian version, definitely entertaining. I guess The Tipping Point should be on there, Gladwell is engaging for a business writer and the book changed the way people see the world. Harry Potter is a guilty pleasure.

What is missing from the list? Has anyone read any of the other books?

I would add Peace Like a River by Leif Enger. It’s one of the best books I’ve read in a long, long time. Other than that I can’t really say…I read mostly theology and guys who were dead long before the 00′s.
